Well the country has to change according to the prices of the world which was far below In Kuwait. But some considerations should be given to poor and less earning salaries persons who cannot afford. I know Kuwait and Kuwaiti has big heart and the will surely help person who are not in position to pay. I wish Kuwait all the best and May allha bless this country and overcome their budget problem which they are facing. Long live Kuwait

It is not fare.
First of all, peoples staying in a country should not be discriminated in the case of medical treatment. Kuwait should think that they are not coming here for medical treatment.
My points:
1. Maternity expenses, except the pregnancy test, can be increased even more because it is a known treatment and the people can plan in advance this sort of treatments. I know many people do their wife's delivery here even if it can be done in their country because it was free here. It is not fare. Even they can charge KD 500 or 1000 for delivery.
2. Treatment on accident cases should be totally free because it is not an expected treatment and not a deliberately made treatment like pregnancy.
3. Government should allow take private medical insurance and they should not charge the compulsory medical insurance while renewing the residency.
4. Medicines should be given according to the needs instead of giving the bull box of medicines. This should be controlled even in private medical shops.

Its better to fly to India, keep a health policy there and get all the treatment (much better than Kuwait) almost free.
I wonder why they dont understand the term "insurance". nothing is insured here.
We all come here to save and go back to our motherland, because we dont get the nationality. As a population expats wont be a burden on them. Clearly they are not earning much from oil thats why they want to earn from expats.
This continuos feeling of insecurity and "second citizen" makes us mentally sick.

Why we are forced to go to public hospitals?
Why cant we choose the insurance company for medical services?
Forcing all expats to pay medical insurance to the ministry is an injustice.
Do they want to run public hospitals with expat money?

3) Exercise Daily.
4) Drink warm and hot water daily. Not cold and refrigerated water.

Kuwait is heading to a downfall (no cursing) but this is what they are pushing us to think over about going back. The biggest example is that many apartments are vacant and they are not getting buyers. Areas where people were ready to shed a hefty KEY MONEY are now tasting dust.

People already started sending their families back. May Allah show the right path to all concerned.

Use the hybrid medical care available in Kuwait.
For common illnesses a medical opinion can be got by paying only Rs 300 online.
A visit to the doctor gives you one month of online follow up and monitoring even on a daily basis free.
All your records and tests are available online in the electronic format password protected for privacy and it can be shared with your doctor in India or elsewhere. This facility is free.

EXPATS, if you want to fall sick please do it before october 1, 2017 .... after that if you want to fall sick make sure you are in your country... and @ Terminator..you do have a positive attitude but in the wrong place and country...so please don't expect any good news here for expats to avoid any frustration. and if you still feel it's fair when expats are bearing 60 centigrade heat...than bravo man..you are a real dude.

Even paying 1 KD and stay waiting for hours in at so called polyclinics to see outdated misri jholachap doctors to get cheapest drugs such as Panadrex is too much.
Better buy better quality drugs from pharmacy by paying 2-3 KD.
Poors are suffering everywhere let it be here or in RamRajya.

THAN WHY STILL CHARGING 50 & 40 & 30 as annual health fees...
If really you want to make it fair than scrap this annual fees and than charge the new fees policy. Always absurd in every expat policy !!!

#Haraam Alayk,
Increasing fees in every sector is a burden on the expatriate.
All are not businessman here, Many people still working on the monthly salary of 60 KD.

Very Bad Decision for Medical Fees.

this is outrageous..... why expats are always targetted??? why arent the nationals being charged when they earn more, get more facilities and even for the health insurance they pay nearly nothing but expat bearing all the burden and even after that pay all these charges... just let them take off the yearly health insurance and then fine we will agree to pay these charges!!!
