Kuwait is planning to construct the tallest flagpole in the world, reports Al-Shahed daily.

According to daily, The Amiri Diwan has requested Kuwait Municipality to allocate the seafront opposite the Flag Square and Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center.

Indicating that all technical studies will be carried out to approve the project and allocate the beach, Assistant Undersecretary for Engineering Affairs at Amiri Diwan Niyaz Khajah affi rmed that the beach will be designed with necessary beautification elements including gardens, traffic routes, places of gathering, children’s play area, celebration facilities, and services for visitors and beachgoers, also taking into account the requirements of people

with special needs.

zak Thursday, July 6, 2017 the country needs many pedestrian over bridges at different places as well as bus stop shelters...can the municipality look into these matters and give the same importance and allocate some budget please...
