Students passing out of CBSE schools in Kuwait have less probability in cracking competitive exams with peers back home.
Most of the parents are satisfied by their kids scoring 100%.
Well this doesnt give enough background to crack questions that come in competitive exams of which candidates require more practise of previous questionnaires, a habit of reading reference texts or journals. Most of the coaching centres back home make inroads via old entrance question papers.
If children get access to and build a habit of doing more entrance questions along with regular studies from 11th and 12th, there could be more toppers in competitive exams from schools here.
Maybe equal importance must be given to cracking the percentile and practising on MCQs. Because competitive exams dont just happen in securing a degree it gets tougher for PGs.

Exposing kids to whatever competitions that comes around can build a stronger individual too. After all studies are not the only thing in life. There's a part which must be enjoyed equally, childhood!

My daughter Anamika was one among students who passed out this year completing and class XII from this Elliot institution. Dr. V Binuman, Dr Sam and the teachers of ICSK Senior deserves the highest appreciation and we express our sincere gratitude and thanks to the faculty for imparting the highest standard of Education to the children.

This school balances co- curricular activities along with regular studies and children passing out from this institution step in the big world as a very confident individual, full of knowledge and ready to face any challenges in their life ahead.

Best wishes to the ICSK Management and once again congratulations to the Teaching faculty for the commendable class XII results.

As a parent, I fully agree with teachers comments. The teachers in Kuwait are very much underpaid. Even expat secretaries in Oil Sector who cannot speak proper English and draft decent letters in English are paid more than 500KD.
It is a shame that professional teachers are paid very less, leading them to resort to private tuitions inorder to make some extra bucks.

All the school Managements in Kuwait are giving proud announcements about their class X and class XII achievements, but have they ever thought why their students are not able to crack even JEE Mains, BITSAT and NEET exams which are conducted by CBSE only.

What is the use in scoring 97% in class XII, if it is not helping the student to get a merit seat in Indian Professional colleges. All the NRI students are paying huge monies to enter the professional courses either thru DASA or Management quotas.

It is time for Kuwait School Managements to do an introspection about how they will improve the standards of their students and not limit their achievements just to advertisements in IIK.

@Teacher, I am passionate teacher and I fully agree with your observation. I was interviewed by one of the Premier schools and the observer who is the head of the faculty, vice principal and the principal all were happy with the report and my profile. I worked in the top school in UAE and they paid well considering the credentials and demo. In this school after everyone approved of my credentials meeting the management to get the salary approval was the last step. I was stunned with the way discussions took place and initial was KD 225 which is not meeting the MoE recommendations and then I found the HoD and VP bargaining for me for at least KD 10 more!!! shocked I left and never returned and now I am getting KD 280 in a less known school though but I am sure I can make a difference. So these premier schools are not respecting their staff and hence staff movement is more and less known schools are better place to work. MoE must check out if the salary fixed are paid to all.

The management of ICSK deserves appreciation for their magnanimity in appreciating the efforts of the teachers, vice principal and the principal for their contribution however small it may be. There are premier schools which produce even better results than ICSK and their management shows scant respect to the team but want the teachers to spend more time at schools as salary is paid. The truth is ICSK pays same salary if not better. That is why ICSK has one of the best faculties while others are searching for teachers. Many congrats to ICSK staff and their leaders and you deserve this cash prize and recognition. Many teachers from the two top schools are in ICSK and a few from ICSK jumped into others as well.
