Friday Court clinch Q7 Kuwait Premier League Season 9

Tail ender Basharat Ali Khan hit an unbeaten 21 including the winning six to steer Friday Court to a thrilling one-wicket win over Spark XI to emerge champions of Q7KPL season 9. In pursuit of 145 at an asking rate of 9.06 an over, Friday Court lost their top three inside three overs. Kuwait National Team player Sajid Kalam wafted outside off against Venkateshulu to be caught by Rahul S. Hasan strikes twice in consecutive overs, hard hitter Josy Varghese backed to pavilion cought by vengateshalu and Shabee caught and bowled in his over.

Skipper Marzook hits 2 massive sixes but he can’t stay so long, got out in Sharath’s over beautifully caught by Raees on the deep. On half way of chasing Friday Court were 62 for the loss of 5 wickets. Hasan Kazi strikes again and bagged his 3rd wicket, Bilal Ahmad got bowled.

Rafeeq and Mohammed Razeen came together with 70 required, with the help of 4 sixes rafeeq scored 28 and that helps Friday Court to reach the target. 9thwicket fall down in 15th over, 22 runs were required. The Man of the match Basharat Ali hits 2 consecutive sixes in Raees’s over, with 9 runs required off Sharath’s final over, Basharat sealed it by a huge six towards long on region with three balls to spare.

After being elected to bat, Spark XI had been indebted to the top scorer Venkateshalu for his 40 with 4 boundaries and 3 sixes that helped post a modest 144.
