Friday, March 24, 2017

Ministry of Public Works is planning to replace all its expatriate employees with Kuwaitis within the next five years.

According to a report in Al-Shahed daily, the ministry is keen on benefiting from the experiences of national labour and contributing in providing job opportunities to the youths based on the plan of the Cabinet and in line with the Kuwaitization policy in the public sector.

Earlier Al Rai newspaper reported that Ministry of Electricity and Water is planning to reduce 50% of expatriate workers. According to report, Undersecretary of the Ministry, Eng. MEW has already started reducing the number of expatriate workers who are working on contract basis by 30% in technical sectors and 50% in administration and finance sector.

Remove the expatriates who are working more than 10 years in Ministry. Good percentage of them are proud and earned more than 2 crores. Give chance to other expats engineers who are taking 500 kd salary with 10 years experience. Nationals are approving Indians with fake certificates and our people are against correspondence degree holders and recruiting their relatives with fake certificates.
