Indian Women In Kuwait (IWIK) under the guidance of community portal IndiansinKuwait.com, celebrated International Women's Day with an unique and fun filled picnic "My Day With Myself" at a Farm House on Friday, 17th March 2017.
The whole day event at the farm house included Games, Laughter Yoga, Discussion on Handling Stress, Dumb Charades, Relaxation Techniques, Music, Dance, Food and Refreshments.
The morning session was filled with Games and Laughter Yoga and the afternoon session had Relaxation, Talk on How to live with stress, Music and Dance. Laughter Yoga and Relaxation was conducted by Lakshmi Mankala, certified yoga instructor, registered with Alliance USA, Naturopath and Yoga Therapist.
The Laughter Yoga session started with gentle warm-up techniques and then an uncontrollable laughter in various forms like "milkshake" laugh, Soup Laugh, Electric Shock laugh,rope pulling laugh, Appreciation Laughter, Argument Laughter etc.. Started as a forced laughter soon turned into real and contagious laughter. Women just enjoyed the uncontrollable laughter.
Talk on How to live with stress was conducted by Dr Navniit Gandhi, where she with examples explains how one can reduce their stress and lead a happy life. It was an informative talk.
Women relished Delicious Food at the event which was served by Oriental Restaurant. The travel to the Farm house and back was arranged in a special luxury KGL Bus.
The whole day event gave women a day to socialize , network with each other and also have great fun. Large number of Indian women from all walks of life attended the event, organised by IWIK.

Indian Women In Kuwait (IWIK) is an unifying place for the Indian women residing in Kuwait, wherein the members shall learn a bit; gain a bit; have a little fun; and express themselves and their skills. Earlier IWIK Team has successfully organized a series of offline and online events such as the Rangoli Competition, X-Mas Tree Contest, Live cookery show by Tarla Dalal, Kuwait Darshan, Blood Donation Camp, Methai Contest, ICE - In Case Of Emergency workshop , MAA - Pre and Post Natal Care Seminar and a range of other competitions and programs.
