ICSK Class VI Farewell Assembly Report 2016-2017

A special assembly was conducted by class V to bid farewell to the students of class VI on 28th February, 2017. It began with the recitation of the verses from The Holy Quran which was followed by the school prayer and later by the thought for the day.

The light of knowledge was handed over to Master. Johann Premjith, the Senate Vice President, studying in class V by the Senate president Miss.Navya Prashanth to keep it glowing and illuminate ICSK JUNIOR throughout. It was followed by the valedictory speech by Miss. Navya and thanksgiving speech by Master. Johann. A beautiful masterpiece of yesteryears, ‘I have a dream’ was sung melodiously by the choir.

The highlight of the assembly was a skit aptly named ‘Sweet Memories’ which depicted the life of students from LKG to class VI. A touch of nostalgia could be felt among the audience. The students were very excited to be a part of this wonderful assembly.

Principal Incharge, Mrs.Sherly Dennis and Vice Principal, Mrs.C.Sheeja addressed the assembly and advised students to be humble, faithful and goal-oriented.

The class teachers and the class representative of class VI also addressed the students and instructed them to be obedient and passionate about their studies and also to be always cheerful.

Much awaited part of this assembly was giving best wishes to each and every student of class VI. They came on to the stage to receive their blessings and also beautifully prepared greeting cards from their teachers, it was a moment of mixed feelings and the students were overwhelmed. Assembly dispersed by the singing of Indian National Anthem.
