SIS’ Women’s Day Celebration – ‘Be Bold For Change’

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Bhavan’s Smart Indian School commemorated the event in a very gay and splendid manner in the mega school auditorium. The day had in store, a vibrant and energized participation from the day stealers - the women of SIS including teaching, non-teaching and supportive staff. The smattering of male staff whose efforts to galvanize the day were very effective. The amazing dance movements of the KG staff and the day’s assignment for every teacher from the Principal’s desk culminated in a teacher’s presentation on the analogy of a successful male and a female in their respective arena which truly was a befitting one and that stole the show. The time had a good reminder on how a woman presides in myriad roles in her life time was well brought out as well by the dynamic Principal during his Message to all SIS Women. The importance of 3 ‘S’ was also highlighted as ‘She’ being a metonym for Sacrifice, an epitome of Sunshine and the price of Success. The time had its end by celebrating the triumphant roles and the ever changing and progressive onward movements in each and every woman out there in the world. The collective efforts finally ended with cutting of cake symbolizing their unity and promise to forever keep SIS’ flag flying high in the sky and strive to reach for the stars.
