Visitors health insurance fee based on the age

Friday, February 17, 2017

Ministry of Interior will determine the health insurance fee for foreigners visiting the country and the same will be included in the bylaws once the decision is issued.

According to local Arabic newspaper Al-Shahed daily, the health insurance fee will be based on the age of visitors. If the visitor is more than 60 years old, the insurance fee will be higher, daily reported.

The daily also reported that the concerned authorities are looking into the possibility of setting up a health center at the airport, in coordination with ministry, to conduct express medical check-ups for visitors in order to identify the diseases they are suffering if any.
