ABOUT ‘ENEMY’

‘Enemy’ is on a Goan Catholic family that discovers they have lost their property to the Government and their family honor is at stake.

Talking about the film in the media, director Dinesh said the biggest hurdle was catering to the expectations of Goan audience.

The main phase was shooting large scale protest scenes, which required crowds. It was difficult to find Goans to be part of it, luckily since the movie was shot in Agaçaim, the villagers helped by participating in the scenes. Other shots of the movie were filmed in New Delhi.

Salil Naik and Samiksha Dessai, both from Panaji, are the lead stars in the movie.

KUWAIT FILM FESTIVAL

Konkani films have seen a kind of rebirth, both in terms of the number of films produced as well as the diversity of subjects.

Comedy, music and poignancy are synonymous with Konkani cinema, and the Kuwait festival is sure to share this legacy with film lovers.
