National Girl Child Day at its Peak in SIS

Smart Indian School marked the occasion of National Girl Child Day by celebrating the powerful constituency for shaping a sustainable world that is better for girls in this present age and also to remember and re-swear the policy of thwarting gender inequality and to actualize the triumph over the extinction of the preponderance in gender discrimination. With this in mind, the potential and smart girls of Grades 6 and 7 CBSE confiscated the dais with their immeasurable speech and emphasis on the girl empowerment. The morning assembly had a unique turn of showcasing a difference in the conventional pattern of its process. The time had a massive impact on the children gathered coupled with the gracing of the occasion by Principal, Vice Principal and the teaching bodies. The statistics for gender inequality was videoed creating a daunting effect on the viewers with an oath taken by children to eschew discrimination to the core. The cycle of violence that exists in the form of forcible marriages, animosity for a child being a girl in her childbirth and refusal to the right of Education were all highlighted with due care and diligence to establish impact on the children. The awareness on the pre-existing design and the demolition of female infanticide was movingly carried out by the amazing Kindergarten children through an activity of colouring. Without doubt, the day was seen at its best with all children in participation.
