Traffic is common everywhere. But here in Kuwait its not all abouttraffic.
Kuwait population is bit large. Roads and modes of transportation plays an important role for every Countries infrastructure. In GCC ,Kuwait is one of the wealthiest countries i have seen . But here Kuwait have not applying the International standards or even a standard- an outsider view. We cannot convert Kuwait Like Dubai in 1 week time. It should takes powerful law implementation and strict utilization and time. I have lived in 3 GCC states and can see Kuwait doesn't have a proper management for Traffic and Cleanliness. It should be taken care from Village, municipality to city . Ministry should take strict necessary actions towards the law violators. Since the law is flexible , crime rates , traffic fines and Complaints are too high. Its really sad that a wealthy country doesn't keep a standard for none. I do understand that I have spend like 30 minutes for analyzing these things to showcase.

It is mandatory to develop the public as in singapore also the traffic is in control since long time. Transport is an good idea to control traffic in kuwait. But how to implement this system?

1.There should be an survey to each and every company. The government official should take list of every industrial area companies information and every day should prepare the schedule to visit the companies. Collect the civil id copies of the employees who possess the driving license. This information can also be received from traffic department for the license holders. And shoon will provide the company addresses of these license holders as it is available in the system.
Go to each and every company and shops whatever and check with the admin people whether these people really need the driving licenses for their position what they are holding.
cut down the licenses what is really not necessary for the benefit of the company directly.
Strictly cancel licenses of the senior expats those who crossed 50 years. Because sure their efficiency will be gone in driving. Sometime they are very much burden to the way.
One million cars can be reduced if we arrange 20,000 buses.
Is that not sufficient to reduce the traffic?
Cut down the licenses step by step and buy the buses batch by batch.
15 million dinars turn over per month!!!! Is that not support the country's economy growth?
Simple. No need to break the head.

The reason for the traffic problem is increasing number of cars and other vehicles on the road. The roads are not wide. All the major offices are centralized at one area. Govt should consider making new connecting roads utilizing baren lands lying un-utilized.

Over 10 years since the introduction of salary cap and silly strict regulations in obtaining the license.. and still traffic problems r increasing.. what does this mean.. ur solutions so far r utterly useless !! which other country in the world has such insanely silly rules for getting a driving licence.. salary cap + university degree + attestation + minimum 2 years in the country.. and still hav to pay for wasta to get license or to pass the test without deliberately getting failed !!
get some sensible people from outside of kuwait to think logically and sort the issue.. if u seriously want a solution..!!

The major reason for the traffic issue is the lack of proper public transport system.

If they are not in a position to introduce Metro train, they have to arrange a proper public transport system which we can use both in Summer and Winter.

Check the system in Dubai. How they made AC bus shelters in Dubai

Here for public transport system, teh major issues are
1) Make sure that buses are available on regular interval.
2) Make sure buses are availabel to regualr most used routes. ot like Farwaniya to Salmiya through passing almost all places in Kuwait!
3) Make sure the buses are clean and with proper HVAC units
4) Make sure that Bus shelters are clean and decent with proper HAVC units
5 Above all, most important is to make sure that the bedoun kids are not disturbing you in the bus and in the bus shelter.

Feedback 1.Metro to be introduce ASAP 2. LED Seconds counter to be placed each signals which will protect from accidents resulting higher traffic on roads.
