MoH to use motorbikes as ambulances

Sunday, December 4, 2016

The Ministry of Health’s assistant undersecretary for medical support services Dr Jamal Al-Harbi announced that medical emergency services would soon start using motorbikes as ambulances. Excellent service. The same should also be done for traffic accidents, usually its a policeman who arrives by car in an already jammed road. various assistance is also required at junctions etc, where more police should be present. Especially at the salmiya 4th ring, fire station junction, its high time the government build a uturn bridge for people comming out of block 11 & 12

Excellent measure. paramedic can reach faster to the emergency and stabilize patient to some extent before 4 wheeled ambulance can ferry the patient. all the best.
