Indian Embassy to celebrate Constitution Day on Sunday 27th

Embassy of India, Kuwait will celebrate Constitution Day at Embassy Auditorium on Sunday, 27th November 2016 from 4 pm to 5.30 pm.

The theme of the event would be “Of the People, For the People and By the People”.

Constitution Day, also known as Samvidhan Divas, is celebrated in India in honor of Dr.B.R. Ambedkar, known as the architect of the Indian constitution. The Government of India declared 26 November as Constitution Day. On this day in 1949, the Constituent Assembly of India adopted the Constitution of India, and it went into effect on 26 January 1950. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait will be celebrating the day here in Kuwait on Sunday 27th of November 2016.

All Indian nationals are invited to attend the event. The event will conclude with refreshments.
