Amar Cricket League 3 Starts OFF

The opening ceremony of Amar Cricket League Season (ACL) 3 hosted by Amar Cricket Club, Kuwait took place at the Reggai Cricket ground on 18th of November, 2016 around 6:30 am. The guest of honor for the opening ceremony were Mr. Salim Desai (Director of Bayan Medical), Mr. Kasim Bebal, Mr. Noor Ahmed Rajiwate, Mr. Sharfuddin Bebal, Mr. Dawood Bebal, Mr. Akram Bebal, Mr. Kamil Desai, Mr. Sajid Jable, Mr. Shiraj Khadas, Mr. Shoaib Surve, and Mr. Khalid Khadas.

The proceedings started with recital verses from Al-Quraan Al-Kareem followed by a small ribbon cutting ceremony done by Mr. Salim Desai. The proceedings ended with the tournament officially being declared open in the presence of the captains of both the teams, Chiplun Tigers (Moiz Dalwai) and Dabhil Cricket Club (Mustaqeem Dabir) by tossing the coin in the center of the pitch.

ACL 3 2016 – 18th November 2016 (Day 1) brief, with Man of the Match mentioned below:

League Match 1: Chiplun Tigers (71/3 after 8.0 overs) Vs Dabhil Cricket Club (71/6 after 8.0 overs) – Match ended with a Tie. Abdul Latif Momin (31 Runs from 19 Balls) was declared as Man of the Match awarded by Mr. Kamil Desai.

League Match 2: Azad Cricket Club B (73/5 after 8.0 overs) Vs Unique Risers (57/5 after 8.0 overs) - Azad Cricket Club B WON the match by 16 Runs. Masood Jalgaonkar (31 Runs from 19 Balls) was declared as the man of the match presented by Mr. Bashir Kalokhe.

League Match 3: Chiplun Fighters Kuwait (74/3 after 8.0 overs) Vs Saitawada Cricket Club (55/5 after 8.0 overs) – Chiplun Fighters Kuwait WON the match by 19 Runs. Salman Fakki (31 Runs from 14 Balls and 1 Wicket) was declared as the man of the match awarded by Mr. Dawood Bebal.

League Match 4: Amar Cricket Club (80/7 after 8.0 overs) Vs Azad Cricket Club B (69/7 after 8.0 overs) – Amar Cricket Club WON the match by 11 Runs. Atif Rajiwate (2 overs 3 Wickets and conceded 8 runs) was declared as the man of the match presented by Mr. Dawood Bebal.

League Match 5: Saitawada Cricket Club (88/2 after 8.0 overs) Vs Azad Cricket Club A (88/6 after 8.0 overs)- Match ended with a Tie. Wasim Chapekar (51 Runs from 29 Balls) was declared as the man of the match for his brilliant half century and the trophy was awarded by Mr. Shiraj Khadas.
