The Traffic Unit of Airport Security Department seized 26 vehicles, issued 1,860 citations and dealt with three traffic incidents in the month of October.

According to a press statement issued by Ministry of Interior, the violations included use of private vehicles as taxis, violation of safety and security regulations, use of mobile phones while driving, not wearing seatbelts while driving and parking in banned locations and spots allocated for the disabled.

The General Department of Public Relations and Media Security affirmed the keenness of Ministry of Interior to protect the security of road users and ensure compliance to traffic laws especially at Kuwait International Airport. It also emphasized the importance of following all traffic laws especially in vital utilities.
