Traffic violators with fines exceed KD 50 can be refered to court

Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major-General Fahd Al-Shuwea has issued a decision which allows traffic directors to refer traffic violators whose fines exceed KD 50 to the court, reports Al-Anba daily.

Meanwhile, statistics issued by the General Traffic Department shows KD1.5 million have been collected in the form of traffic fines from motorists over a period of 4

days.
