K.T Muhammed Padanavedhi,Kuwait conducted Puraskara Sandhya-2016 on 14th October 2016 at United Indian School, Abbasiya.The function was inaugurated by Comrade Sathyan Mokeri,Ex-MLA and was delighted by the presence of eminent personalities of Kuwait’s socio- cultural fields. Comrade Sathyan Mokeri handed over the awards to the winners and spoke about K.T Muhammed and his contributions and the influences made by his dramas to the old era in which drama played a very important role in common man’s life. On the occasion he appreciated the Padanavedhi for exploring K.T Muhammed and his dramas to the new generation by conducting such events and also congratulated the award winners. The event was presided by General Convener Shyjith.K.
The winners of KT Muhammed Padanavedhi awards-2016 are Sindhu Ramesh, C.Bhaskaran, Joy Mundackatt, Sharafudheen Kanneth, Chacko George Kutty, Backer Thikkodi, Malayil Moosakkoya, P.C. Hareesh, Dr.John Arts, Sajeev.K.Peter, Suresh Tholambra, Dileep Naderi, Deepu Mohandas, Rafi Kozhikode, Rafi Kallai, Shaiju Pallippuram and Biju Thikkodi.
Aboobacker.K conducted October Anusmaranam which was very much informative to the audience and Babuji Batheri introduced the award winners to the attendees. K.P.Balakrishnan (President, KSNA, Kuwait Chapter), V.P.Mukesh (Advisory board member) delivered felicitatation. The award winners thanked K.T. Muhammed Padanavedhi and said in return that such awards are encouragement to their future endeavors and are the signs for their hard works. Also they appreciated the activities of Padanavedhi.
General convener Shyjith K handed over the memento to Sathyan Mokeri on behalf of Padanavedhi. The short drama directed by Sunil Cherian was enjoyed by the attendies. The colourfull performance by children like folk dance, dramatic dance, group songs and Ganamela with drama songs was heart throbbing. Program convener Hassan Koya welcomed the gathering, Haseena Ashraf compared the event and Ragesh P.D delivered vote of thanks. The Padanavedhi also honored Namitha Shivakumar, Sneha Das, Keerthana Pramod and Vismaya Brijith for their valuable support to the event. The homemade dinner from ‘Kozhikodan Adukkala’ added attraction to the event. The padanavedhi take this occasion to once again congratulate the winners and to thank all the attendees and well-wishers for the grand success of the event.
