My heart full condolences. Red-White warning tape must be provided in all the floor when lift is under maintenance. let everyone share this information to their Haris and the lift maintenance company to follow this safety step to avoid such accident in future.

Very sad to know this news. May God grant his soul a heavenly peace.

The nature of accident is not clear to know how he died, Whether due to a failure Of the leafed or any health related issue.

Lifts require periodic inspection and certification for their fitness for purpose, which is generally done and ready, there are inspection and certification bodies performing such kind of certifications.

We would deeply appreciate if you can throw more light on this incident so that people gets more awareness, and such kind of accidents can be prevented.

Best regardsM S Ray

Really sad to hear about the incident, can anybody tell who 2 inform about it, as similar condition is there in our building also and even after repeated complains the haris doesn't cares at all. I am afraid really it may happen anyday in our building also, kids and everybody use the lift and most of the guardians are away in office. So kindly guide, whom we need to make a complain with. Either the Fire department or any other department. Its a serious concern.

Sad to hear the news, may allah SWT bless him and give patience to his family for loss of dear one. Dear IIK, you report only keralite tragedies, please stop being indigenous and be fair in reporting every destitute who suffers.

What really happened? Throw more light on the incident, so that such accidents can be avoided by others.
I advices his friends and family to file a case against the building owner so that Kuwait law will pay his blood money to his family. this will be a learn to the owner and the care taker.

10,000 flats are lying vacant in Kuwait. Real estate is in crisis. Flat rents have to go down. So no flat owner will do anymore maintainence in his flat. Harris has to been told to keep expenses to minimum. So everyone be carefull about your personal safety.
