Smart Indian School Celebrated Grand Parents Day

The auspicious days Dasherra and Ashura were chosen by SMART INDIAN SCHOOL, KUWAIT to celebrate the Grand Parents’ Day. This grand occasion of triple commemoration was intertwined with the inauguration of the magnanimous auditorium of SIS by the senior most grandparent Mr. Mohammed Sabir. The grandparents were given a classic welcome by which they were spellbound. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp by two grandparents Mr. Mohammed Sabir and Mrs. Valsala Jolly Abraham, Chairman Mr. N.K Ramachandran Menon, Principal Mr. Mahesh Iyer and Vice Principal Ms. Marie Christiane of SIS. A mesmerizing invocation dance by Mr. Hari, the dance master left the audience in awe. An enthralling show was put up by the smart students and teachers. The tiny tots of nursery rocked the show with a dance drama. Few games were organized for the grandparents that took them down their memory lane. The students along with the guest actively participated in the quiz and were inspired by the videos shown. The tableau presentation and the enthralling dance performed by every class left in a jubilant mood. The programme concluded on a cheerful note and was well appreciated by the grandparents as they left the venue filled with mixed emotions.
