MoH calls for withdrawal of some cough medicines

The Ministry of Health issued a circular on the withdrawal of some cough medicines from pharmacies to return them to the concerned industrial company in order to make certain modifications and then supply the pharmacies with the modified medicines, local daily Arab Times reported citing Al-Shahid daily.

According to report, the ministry does not allow the sale of counterfeit medicines being advertised on various social networking sites as these products are not licensed by the Pharmaceutical Regulatory Authority (PRA).

jjd Tuesday, September 27, 2016 M.O.H. should publish the brands of these medicines immediately instead of 'beating around the bush' because precaution has to be taken as this is the season when people take more of cough and cold medicines.
