Saradhi Kuwait celebrated 162nd Sri Narayana Jayanthi, “Chathaya Dinam”, the birthday of Sri Narayana Gurudevan, the great Saint and social reformer from India, on 16th September at Jamaiya Hall, Jleeb Al Shuaikh.

The full day program started with inaugural ceremony presided over by Saradhi President Sri.Suresh.K. Vice President Sri.Preethymon Valath welcomed the gathering.

Chief Guest Sri.Biju Pulickaladath, the well-known orator and preacher of Sri Narayana Guru's teaching, inaugurated the function and delivered the Chathayam message.

The chief guest, popularly known as “Bijumash” was on a four days visit to Kuwait for giving a series of lecture on the life and teachings of Srinarayana Guru.

Saradhi General Secretary Sajeev Narayanan, Treasurer Muruka Das, Patron Suresh Kochath, Trust Acting Chairman C.J.Reji, Vanithavedi Chairperson Roshni Biju and Program Committee General Convener Vineesh Viswambaran lead the inaugural function. Representatives from almost all organizations in Kuwait and media persons attended the function.

Winners of Ramayana Tele Quiz, organized by Saradhi Vanitha Vedi, were awarded during the function. The chief guest Sri.Biju Pulickaladath released Daivadasakam painting video CD by handing over the first copy to artist Sunil Kulanada. Flyer of Saradhi’s upcoming mega program “Saradheeyam 2016”, scheduled on Nov 11 was also released by the Chief Guest, by handing over the first copy to Binumon, its General Convener.

The inaugural function was followed by daylong cultural fiesta depicting Chathayam and Onam, which enthralled the audience. Sumptuous Onasadya, prepared by the members, served for more than 1800 people present at the function, was a special attraction of the Celebration.
