I stayed in Kuwait 35 years and very often i used to hear they will reduce expriates. When than you did not so what you will do now. Do you know the consequences of reducing expriates who are well versed from low to top jobs and if you think you want to do, do it why always talking of reducing but you fail to do so. By the way who cares nowadays whether you need expriates or not if you dont throw them out and let the expriates see how you will survive without them.

Limiting expats in general based on total number of years may not solve the issue rather it should be based on skills. If you do so then it may lead to some other consequences.

it is depressing to read comments of those who are in the favor of removing experienced elders, Such insensitive comments can come from those who do not have confidence in their ability and patience in their nature to find a living. Every person deserves to work and earn meritoriously until they are capable. there is no such age for retirement. Remembe, all of us are heading in the same direction; we all are going to get old.

Very good step. Don't allow maximum more than 10 or 15 yrs. Not only Kuwait. Dont't allow to go and work any other gulf countries also. Then only fresher's will get the change to enter foreign countries and earn.

But, this country they can make a draft, they can not implement.

It is a good step by the government but will it be executed in principle or is just another legislation. Many laws are made daily but the ones made are to only suppress the Asian work force as the European and the American's are nvere touched why are they a superior race.

There is matter of Qualification also, Mr Dev you mentioned that people are taking high salaries, even in India Engineers are getting more then 1000kd as per experience, a Uneducated person only thinks about other salaries, if you dint have Education and talent dont blame for others,

Indians who are already well off, must return to India to lead a free life from the jungli life. You dont need civil ID, no court will ever jail you for one way entry. Leave this 'paradise' soonest!

THIS IS A RIDICULOUS THING TO DO. BECAUSE WHO EVER IS EARNING WHAT EVER, IS BASED ON THEIR EXPERIENCE. INDIANS ARE KNOWN TO WORK WITH DEDICATION AND LOYALTY. A PERSON WHO IS EARNING 1500 OR 2500 HAS REACHED THIS POINT AFTER MUCH OF HARD WORK. I FEEL PITY ON YOUTH IF THEY HAVE TO REMOVE OLDER PEOPLE IN ORDER TO GET GOOD JOB, IT MEANS THEY WERE NOT FOCUSED ENOUGH TO GET REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE WHILE STUDYING, WHICH COULD HAVE SECURED THEIR FUTURE.

its good decision as the youngsters will get good opening, whereas presently the retired people are sitting like couch potato and take 1000 KD salaries, these retired expatriates not retiring is limiting the job openings for youth.

I think it is not so practicable. The normal labour, drivers, helpers in house, technical staff were all not available to get from European and Arabic countries. Up to certain extent Egyptian people will be able to support these sections. Other all to be from India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Philipines etc.,

If you are not thinking about the required efficiency and only considering the nationality, it will be a big blow for the Kuwait in future.

If people are working more than 20 years and taking more then 1000 kd monthly salary. I know many Indians working in kuwait with more than 1500 kd from last 25 years and childrens are settled in UK & USA with high salary.
