Kuwait Pavendar Kazhagam organized its 46th Kalam as a Indian Independence Day special programme on 05-08-2016 at Pavendar Arangam in MANGAF. The programme started at 05.00 P.M and was anchored by our Poet Mr. C. Sivamani. Prayer song was sung by Mrs. Kayalvizhi Balu & Mrs. Ramya.

The programme was presided over by Eng. Somasundaram and in the presence of Mr. Eng. Santhakumar & Eng. Sekar (Ex-President-PVKK).

The Chief Guest was introduced to audience by Mr. Pazha Krishnamoorthy, Secretary, PVKK.

PVKK Kalappaadal was sung by Poet Mr. C. Sivamani and one Thirukkural was beautifully elucidated by Kavingar Mr. Swamy Kanmani & Mrs. Sowmyalakshmi Rajesh narrated a story with a nice moral in an interesting way.

The event under title “KalaththuMedu” was performed by PVKK members children Niranjana, Nigethana, Puvanesh, Athisri, Viveka & Singers Mr. Ramakrishnan, Mr. Nelson, Mr. Sanmugam were performed dances and songs were well appreciated by the Chief Guests, audience and members.

Mrs. Rama delivered a speech about “Annai Therasa” under the title “Ninanithu Ninainthu” & Eng. B.Sekar (Former President) delivered a speech about “Kalivaanar N.S.Krishnan” under the title “Inithinum Inithu”.

Poets Mr. Sivamani, Mr. Swamy Kanmani & Mr. Sathishkumar recited beautiful poems on the topic “Wher is gone woman’s Freedom” for the title “Kavithai Siragu” under the chairperson Poet Vasu Ramanathan.

The Chief Guest appreciated the events were meticulously structured to educate audience with amusement. The dinner was sponsored by our Mr. & Mrs. K. Natarajan along with PVKK. The event was concluded with national anthem by PVKK Members.
