Domestic helpers commit most crimes in Kuwait: MP

Monday, July 11, 2016

MP Abdulrahman Al-Jeeran said that the expat domestic helpers are the top group that commit crimes and violates the law, based on the answers provided by Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khaled Al-Sabah to his question on the highest percentage of crimes committed in Kuwait and the nationalities of the criminals, local daily Kuwait Times reported.

“I draw attention to the importance of the population imbalance deal, and taking security measures in this regard, including increasing the number of well-trained policemen, increasing prison capacity, signing extradition treaties, especially with countries that have a high percentage of workers in Kuwait, and increasing inspection campaigns, especially in areas with high expat labor density,” daily quoted him.

Why putting so much of time, effort and money for controlling crime done by expat labours. Just stop giving visa to domestic help and labours and please do it all by yourself like the civilised developed countries like US Germany, Japan etc. The matter ends.
