Kuwait Malayali Samajam (KMS) conducted an Iftar party on 16th June 2016 at Kabed area Block No. 5, exclusively for the employees working in desert areas. About 150 persons from different nationalities mostly shepherds, gardeners, farm workers were attended the event.

KMS is a non-profitable, non-political, secular and socio-cultural organization constituted with the aims of promoting the charitable, educational and cultural activities. It is a registered association under the Embassy of India in Kuwait.

In this connection, KMS organized a meeting at the premises of Kabed mosque. KMS President Mr. Varghese Paul presided over the meeting. KMS Advisory Board Chairman Mr. Saji Varghese inaugurated the Iftar meet. KMS Patrons Mr. Ullas Kumar and Mr. Rajeev Naduvilemuri, , General Coordinator Mr. Santhosh, Mr. Dinesh Mangalath, Mr. Mathew Chennitala, Mr. Philip CV Thomas, appreciated the initiatives taken by KMS for this event. Acting General Secretary Mr. Gopinathan welcomed all attendees and Treasurer Mr. Binoy Chandran expressed vote of thanks. The program was coordinated by the event Convener Mr. Maxi Joseph.
