The interior and commerce ministries agreed to ban the sale of air guns in supermarkets and co-op societies, and instead limiting their sale to 15 licensed gun shops in Kuwait.
The decision came during a recent meeting that the two ministries held to discuss the gun’s threat since its shots can be fatal if fired from close range. Air guns are often imported and used in Kuwait by bird hunters.
