“Shayer Aur Ghazal” presented by ICS on Friday 20th May. Pioneer for quality entertainment & producer of regular hit shows ICS serves this time, a unique concept of Poetry recitation and Ghazal singing by legends from Indian Cinema & Literature. Beside the social & welfare work done for a long period, team ICS is celebrating its10th year, presenting variety of programs to the community.
Poetic fragrance & an evening was witness to promote our literature by Padma Shri Tom Alter (veteran film, theater & TV actor), Deepti Naval (Film Fare award winner actress, writer, painter & poet) , Raza Murad (Renowned Film & TV actor cum orator), Aalok Srivastav (famous Urdu poet & media personality from Aaj Tak / DD1) , senior writer & renowned poets Aeel Nomani, & Mansoor Usmani presented their best couplet’s pieces. Young Ghazal maestro Shishir Parkhie & team added colors by singing their melodious ghazals. Safa khan has also shares the stage with her two soulful ghazal.
The Indian Embassy Auditorium was witness for unique concept presented by Indian Cultural Society. The event started with prayer song, national anthem followed by fusion dance by little angles from AARTSHALA (choreography by Mrs. Rupini Raman & Priya Laxmi Narayan ).
The event was officially inaugurated by H.E. Shri Sunil Jain Ambassador of India to Kuwait & Dr. Gargi Jain along with H. E. Ambassador of Nepal & Mr. B V R Mohan Reddy (advisor to PM, Founder and Executive Chairman at Cyient India Limited, is also the Board of Governors at IIT Hyderabad.)

Sr. Executive Rajesh Shawhney & Awais Khan ensured best hospitality and complementary refreshments were provided to the all audience. The ICS president expressed his gratitude to all executives of ICS, volunteers, event supporters, Techno staff, Media Press wings including for Mr. Varghese Paul & Sunil ,Shekhar, (best sound & lights ), Mr. Shahzad Ahmed, Anwar Sadat (still photography), Sunoj Nambiar ( IIK) Chaitali B Roy ( Arab Times ), Clinton Misquita( Kuwait Today) Tariq Ahmed ( VOOP media ), Usman Chaudhry ( Kuwaitup2date ) & Mr. Arun Arvindakshan (General Secretary ICS) for his super control to the all wings.
The hard work of the team ICS & ability to deliver quality entertainment on time has indeed become a model for live events in Kuwait. Creative head Preeti Malhotra & Tasneem Jafer has played vital role to make coordination of green room & back stage process with Shahzad Chaoudhry. Event manager Shugufta Khan, Hospitality executives Nikki Shahney , Annu Singh, Shahid Khan, Abazar Badshah, Sajjad Syeed Sunita Seth, Ashtosh Panchal, Lali Singh were seen on their feet standing throughout the show to ensure the comfort of audience and dignitaries. Stars management was handled by Harpreet Malhotra, Lali Singh & Shugufta Khan. Special thanks to Kaisar Ali, Shamim Ahmed, and Security control by special commandoes of GSGC ensured the success of the show.
