Reply to child- If teacher is not happy with salary tell her/him to leave job and go back to India and dont play with career of innocent students by not teaching students and engaging in tuitions which is an illegal activity in Kuwait.Teachers enjoy big leave period half day job so salary is much more they dont take that into account where they are paid for not working. Also dont compare to Doctors- Doctor is vimpt profession he saves life of a person that includes teacher and student so doctor needs a high salary.

for all parents if u think your child needs to have the best in life, when it comes to good morals and academics stop cribbing... with the current salaries of the teachers in some of the Indian schools...we should feel ashamed before commenting in appreciation of the governments decree.. a teacher is supposed to be above all.. and if we feel that the teachers are paid more ant they deserve we should be ashamed of calling our selves Indians... We pay senseless money to doctors to secure an un-guarantied life then why not pay for a secured future of our children... only if u feel Ur guru should get what they should n not what they deserve then rejoice on the above article...

I have never succumbed to the tuition pressures from the school teachers. Student above has rightly mentioned that most of the tuition teachers preserve their energy during the time they are at school for taking tuition classes in the evening. The school here except the Bhavans get over at 1.15pm and at 2pm the students are forming beeline at the tuition classes and goes on up to night 10pm or even 11pm. So where is the teacher preparing for the school work? Most of the questions are copied from so many reference books or from other schools question papers. No principal is able to check these unscrupulous activities of these teachers. My advice to my children is what you score by your own hardwork is better than scores by the tuition teachers leaking the questions ahead of the examination. The menace can never be controlled by any authority except we parents.

Tuitions should be checked -if any school teacher is giving either at home or schools itself >It was no problem if it was extra income for teachers, but they dont teach students in class properly so that they end up coming for tuition's and poor hard working and tired parents have to teach end of day what teachers should have taught at school. This is a silent practice going on in here by many teachers who are engaged in tuition taking which affects normal student who has to depend on parents. Also some teachers scold student if they ask any difficulty in class which the are supposed to teach so that they dont ask again- such is state of this noble profession nowadays and does a teacher command respect?.very sad
