Amma Kuwait conducted IAM® Beginners Course in three batches from 5 to 7 May 2016 at American International School Hawalli.
IAM ® - Integrated Amrita Meditation Technic is synthesized by Satguru Mata Amritanandamayi Devi for the benefit of humanity. It is a unique combination of yoga, pranayama & meditation. IAM ® is a synthesis of traditional, time tested methods suited for the modern times. IAM ® training is offered free of cost to the public worldwide.
About 200 people from all walks of life and many nationalities were given in-depth training in the practice of IAM® technique.
Sri. Amitji, an extensively trained and highly skilled instructor from Mata Amritanandamayi Math (M.A Math) conducted the sessions. Trained in Indian philosophy, yoga, and meditation at the Math, Sri. Amitji conducts regular training programs on yoga and meditation in India, USA, Canada, and the Middle East for corporates, universities, and the public in general. He is also an accomplished motivational speaker.
Sri. Amitji, stressed that “by practicing IAM ® regularly, one becomes more efficient and disciplined. One begins to "Discover more life in life", making the practitioner the master of one's own mind, and opening up a new world of possibilities.”
A beginner level of AMRITA YOGA, (Bala Namaskarah), a heart centered simple daily practice sequence, was imparted to participants on the last day. Amrita Yoga is taught as a sadhana routine of basic Asanas in a set order, yet when combined with breath and synchronizing sounds, Bala Namaskarah creates a safe, nurturing, and an empowering experience.
Amma Kuwait is very grateful to public for the overwhelming participation and positive feedback. On popular demand, a refresher held the very first Friday on 13th May, is a proof that IAM ® Technique is effective in imparting immense satisfaction to the practitioners.
Amma Kuwait organizes regular refresher sessions every 2nd Friday of the month for practicing IAM ® in a group and to refresh the nuances of the practice.
