Warning to street vendors in Jleeb

Saturday, May 14, 2016

Authorities urged security forces to clear street markets in Jleeb Al-Shuyiukh. Municipal Council member and head of Hawally committee Yousif Al- Ghareeb said that the market is run by number of ‘loose and marginal’ Asian laborers. He warned that the market sells vegetables, fruits, supply goods (whose sale is only restricted to the ministry of commerce), secondhand clothes, cigarettes and tobacco.

“These street vendors must be dealt with very strictly because they have been occupying the polyclinic and the mosque parking spaces on a daily basis,” he said, pointing out that vendors keep coming back to the market despite repeated municipal raids, and a fixed security presence is needed there at all times.

totally agreed with Tony.

The painting and other workshops around the residential buildings are very strange that we can see this practice only in Kuwait which is very shameful , from around the world.

This is very dangerous especially for children in that area, that may cause numerous serious diseases.

So a kind request to the authorities to put an end to this to ensure our children and also the adults a healthy life in Kuwait

I also agree with Tony, as it is shameful to Kuwait. We can't see such workshops/painting garages in the residential area anywhere in other countries, especially GCC countries.

Agree with Tony as they occupy all vacant parking lots by side of road for their cars

Selling the vegetable will not harm the health for us ... If they are willing to do good things they have do the clearance of the paint shops with out the licences. . Around the buildings .... and this makes lot of health issues to the children's .. lot of kids are suffering from respiratory problems .. we cannot open the windows because of the paint smell... if they helps it will be a good thing ..
