FAIPS in liaison with LIC International, Ooredoo, Grow more book shop and Eternity International organized an Inter-school Art and Craft Competition on Saturday, April 23, 2015. Students of Classes I to X from 6 adjoining schools in the city passionately participated in it and showcased their creative talents. There was a variety of individual and group competitions such as coloring, drawing, mosaic, origami, vegetable carving, recycling art work, etc. organized for different classes. The undying spirit of determination and active participation of the contestants were indeed commendable. The spectators were treated with an exciting display of brilliance and talent as the students engaged themselves in different competitions showing off their skills and widening their imagination. Mrs. Roma Madan Soni and Mr. Konstantinos Predaris, Senior Lecturers, Department of Applied Arts and Design, Box Hill College, Kuwait, Mr. Kondal Raj, a well-known Designer Artist and Mrs. Shilpa Sharma Tyagi, a renowned architect were the judges of the event. The day ended with an exciting prize distribution ceremony. Mrs. Anju Dheman, Principal, FAIPS, together with the Chief Guest and the guests of honour, gave away the prizes. Indian Educational School lifted the coveted Overall Championship Trophy. Gulf Indian School was recognized as the runner-up. Kudos to the winners as well as the organizing committee for adding another glorious chapter to the eventful history of FAIPS!!!
