Think Green, Live Green (20th April, 2016 Wednesday) was celebrated with a great deal of enthusiasm and activities by the school. The tiny tots and KG teachers took active part in the various activities. The main aim of the event was to motivate and spread awareness among the students about some ways to save the ailing MOTHER EARTH. Then a speech was given by the KG Head Mrs.Nilofar Qazi guiding the tiny bubbies to work for the environment and gave valuable information on how to preserve natural resources without polluting them.

Our Director was happy to be a part and parcel of this ‘Green celebration- the need of the hour. He insisted that it was time for all of us to sit back and think ways of protecting our Earth. Mr.F.M.Basheer, our Principal, Sr.VP and other Vice Principals also accompanied the Director and graced the occasion.

The cheerful students of KG sang songs in the morning assembly. They were shown flash cards on conservation of nature, banners and colourful charts, reading ‘Think Green, Live Green’ and ‘Plant a tree today’ were put up. Children learnt the importance of preserving the planet earth. The students were sensitized about the importance of saving the environment. A play “The Earth Story” was organised to motivate all to keep the planet as beautiful as ever. Students took a pledge to donate their used toys to poor children and made recyclable paper bags. They were reinforced about the importance of trees and recycling.

Overall, the event was a great success inspiring the students to adopt simple ways that will improve the deteriorating condition of mother earth due to increased human activities causing pollution. “LET’S ALL PLEDGE TO SAVE MOTHER EARTH………….WE HAVE ONLY ONE EARTH……………”
