PACI to cancel civil IDs of expatriate bachelors living in residential areas

Tuesday, April 26, 2016

The Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) plans to revoke thousands of civil IDs that belong to expatriate bachelors who live in private residence areas (houses) in violation of the law, Al-Rai Arabic news paper reported.

Daily, quoting PACI Director General Musaed Al-Asousi, reported that that the authority began blocking the files of real estate where bachelors are in model and private housing areas around Kuwait. A civil ID will be revoked until the holder change his residence.

“There are thousands of bachelors in private residence areas according to the addresses on their IDs, which is contrary to the procedures followed by PACI at the instructions of the cabinet to fight this phenomena,” Asousi said.

He urged violators to adjust their status and avoid living in ‘model areas.’ He also asked real estate owners not to rent for bachelors to avoid having the files of their real estate blocked or facing legal action.

Bloch, can you give mne more information on you and your faith. Very inspiring . any human would follow your divine way of getting things done. God bless you. For your information iam a family man born and brought up here and living for almost 3 generations in kuwait. But at the same time i know the difficulties of those bachelors who leave thier family and come here for a living. Some of them live in the residential areas so that they could get their family here for atleast one month vaccation.
Learn to understand the issues of other humans , your are the least important person in this world.

Again another blow to expat bachelors. It's better go back to our country and work instead of being harassed by these Kuwaitis. Expats are fed-up with these kind of irrational attitude. Poor expat bachelor has come to Kuwait to earn bread for his family and has no place to live here...what a crazy place!!!

First of all authorities need to explain what's the meaning of bachelor. Secondly concerned authorities should build colonies exclusively demarcated for bachelor along with all the basic amenities supermarkets/Clinics etc etc.
Hope we all make life easy and comfortable for thousands of bachelors staying here in q8.
