Either this board or any future one is not the solution, this school has history to lots of wrongdoings and now trying to justify that the financials are there for anybody to have a look is merely a eyewash, the first thing the members who have completed their term should exit immediately and should not re-enter the board thru any other means. The existing board is selectively following the constitution to suit their convenience and spending money at will without any reason. Mr. Wadhavan does not have the slightest idea how this board is functioning since he has recently joined as a Chairman, he does not even know under his nose what is taking place. This school belongs to the community and not to any board, the appropriate thing would be for the HRD ministry from delhi to take control of the administrative affairs of this school which will only benefit the community at large. Any solution should be well thought out and trying to find an immediate solution is not the appropriate way forward.

the school is gone from best to worst. My parents studied in it,my elder brother and sister did,I did ,now my younger brothers are in it to. Since the coming of the new principal for the senior branch the school may reached up in education level but the respect for this school is going down. I have seen alot of students leaving after 10th from different branches since the principal of the senior branch is torturing students in there. Rules are meant to protect student make them good but the senior branch runs on creating a fear in a students life. A child must feel good when he goes to school but this students in senior branch come in fear.

In general, indian school in kuwait standards are falling. quality of teacher is getting miserable. lack of hygiene, dirty toilets, over crowded classroom, lack of attention. I understand education is a pathetic business now. but least these "businessmen" can do is to provide best product. Indian embassy's role is clerical, I wonder if they have any power or just show watchers.

Jos> Can you be the saviour of Indian schools in Kuwait? Please take charge of all Indian schools in Kuwait along with the Kuwaiti staff that you wish to appoint. Avoid all the 'malpractices' and give admission to Kuwaiti students only - that way you can eliminate any chance for Indian people being 'greedy, looting & eating' money. Awaits for more of such constructive suggestions from you.

It is very good move from the BoT to give access to any Indian to see the financials. But what does the financials mean? Only the audited financial (consolidated) result or statement for every year? From that how we can make out how the revenue, expenses and cash controlled? We need to see the complete accounting records after 2001 and check and verify every transactions is smooth and transparent especially the procurement and maintenance contracts. Also want to know what action has been taken by the board until now to recover the funds looted by the previous board members (before 2001). Is there any follow up for that money? Everyone knows who looted that money and where they live now and under whose protection. How they escaped the jail sentence?

Would like to know more about the allotted land by Govt. of Kuwait. Who will be owner of the land ? Who is paying for the land? How is the present sponsor involved in the land deal?

As mentioned earlier, our Indian Embassy should request Govt. of Kuwait to allot the land in the name of Indian Embassy. Govt. of Kuwait, most likely, will not refuse Indian Embassy because it is Govt. of India which is indirectly involved in the deal. And Govt. to Govt. deal is the best and safest for all the
parents and students alike.

All parents should insist our Indian Embassy to get involved. And I am quite confident that our Embassy will take care of our children’s interest seriously.

wherever indians manage there will be greedy people and looting people there for eating money. In indian schools you may appoint kuwaiti staff to avoid malpractices and getting admission is very easy.
