Minister received a parking ticket for parking in a handicapped parking space

Traffic citations were issued to Minister of Commerce and Industry Yusuf Al-Ali and Undersecretary Khaled Al-Shimmali because their cars were parked in spaces allocated for the handicapped in a yet-to-be occupied building in Ishbiliya, local media reported.

According to reports, Commerce Ministry Undersecretary Khalid Al-Shamali sent a letter of appreciation to the Interior Ministry, thanking him for applying the law on all equally.

I am sure the minister knew he is breaking the law but defied but when caught he is praising and saying law is equal for everybody. This is absurd.

A very humbling gesture from Commerce Ministry. Let this incidence be an eye-opener for every person living here in Kuwait. Law must be respected and enforced equally for all.
It would have been much better if the concerned person expressed his apology for the wrong parking first and then appreciating Interior ministry for applying the rule equally for all. Great job done by Interior Ministry.
Keep it up. We Indians are always supporting good governance and respect for law.
