Minister promises to solve Farwaniya problems

Saturday, March 19, 2016

Minister of Public Works Ali Al- Omair promised residents in Farwaniya Governorate’s areas to work on solving problems and removing obstacles they are facing, reports Kuwait Times daily. The minister further indicated that a committee that was formed to investigate the ‘flying pebbles’ problem has submitted its final report.

The problem emerged early this year when heavy rain damaged streets around the country, causing gravels to break-apart and damage vehicles when they are sent flying after making contact by the tires of other passing vehicles.

Responding to questions about the new airport terminal’s building, Omair said that a letter was sent to the State Audit Bureau, requesting that they speed up the process of investigating the tender and making their recommendations; which is a necessary step before the project can be sent to the cabinet.

It is very happy and appreciable to knew the promise of honorable minister.
But in Farwania most of the areas where expats lives, like Jaleeb AL Shuyoukh - Abbasia, hassawi the roads are with so many huge gutters, not even tarred properly since 5/10 years, improper constructions are trespassing the pedestrians ways, no sufficient parking areas are there in any of the new constructions and there have no relationship between approved drawing and as built of these areas buildings. Huge and highly increased rent with congusted constructions are wipes out all greeneries from those areas. It brings more lack in oxygen, more over, lot of illigal Garrages are doing denting & painting on the sides of roads which are being toxic to children and pedestrians...They flews their waste water and garbages to the roads, which blocks the drainage, it cause overflowing the drainage water which is so common since years....still it is overflowing with very bad oder and flies, flies are entering to nearest flats and food. Even after the frequent inspections those illegal Garrages are Working so healthier on these areas...dont know how, but people getting WhatsApp messages prior of each police checking...
Drinking water too getting so smelly and dull in color...
An immediate and permanent action is essential to stop spreading of any infectious diseases....
