Enthralling kindergarten graduation at LOA

LOA celebrated the graduation ceremony of the kindergarten wing on the 24th of February 2016.

As is our tradition the day’s programme started off with the recital of the holy Quran and the prayer song “Blesses be your name.”

Mr. D K Sharma, our chairman presided over the function. Principal, Mrs. Asha Sharma welcomed the renowned guests of honour-Dr. Shoba Vaddadi-Principal of Global English School-a very versatile and seasoned administrator, Mr. Ibrahim-our magnanimous sponsor of LOA, Engineer Afsar Khan-Deputy General manager of Project India, Dr. Santosh Surana, Consultant Radiologist at Farwaniya hospital and a member of management board, Mrs. Subhadra Surana, the chief technologist at the Faulty of Deatistry at Kuwait University, Mrs. Tahirih, owner of Mitaq Optiques a philanthropist and a social worker and Mrs. Anitha Tehjajedeh, a social worker who led a campaign on personality development at LOA added charm to the function.

Dr. Shobha vadaddi spoke on the occasion and congratulated all the graduating students. She urged the students to aim higher and requested the parents to allow students to struggle for exploring knowledge in the same way as a butterfly or a moth struggles to come out of its cocoon. That struggle makes their wings strong and life starts for them.

The tiny tots presented a beautiful performance. Each eloquent speaker welcomed the guests among their midst and introduced the forthcoming performance effectively. The backdrop of the stage dipicted winter, as the theme, which merged beautifully with each performance. The children were able to present a variety of items which were significant in their day to day lives like cleanliness, peace, preservation of water and saving trees which enthralled the audience. A presentation on the waste materials being reused brought the audience to their brim in appreciation. The peacock dance and the patriotic song depicting the costumes and dances of each state, were worth watching. The skit ‘an enormous turnip’ was a treat to the eyes.

The graduation of each section of UKG students was laced with the performances of the LKG students and guests were eager to congratulate each student on their achievements as they came forward to receive their certificates.

As always the day’s events came to an end with a song performance by the UKG students thanking their teachers which said “Thank you once again”.
