On a pleasant evening of mild winter Writers’ Forum, Kuwait held a vibrant and participative discussion on poetry and short stories by the members on 4th March 2016 at the residence of Ms. Humera Roshi. The meeting was presided by the poetry lover and member of the forum Mr Aftab Alam while a new member Mr Biswa Ranjan ...Oriya writer, was requested to be the Chief Guest of the evening. Ms. Tajwer Sultana, the General Secretary of the forum conducted the proceeding.

The story session began with the Humera Roshi reading a true story ‘Bare bones on humanity’ on Madhubani Paintings and Dr. Waseem Siddiqi, Vice President of the forum read his story ‘Khalish’ in Urdu , members presented their review on stories.

In the second session poetry, writers recited their poems in different languages. Those who read the poems in Urdu included Mr. Amir Kidwai, Mr. Ibrahim Sangeraja, Mr. Naseem Zahid, Ms.Sabiha Balgrami, Mr. Shakeel Jamshedpuri, Mr. Kamal Ansari, Ms. Tajwer sultana and a new member Mr. Ameer Uddin. Mr. Aamir Diwan recited his poem in Hindi.

Toward the conclusion of the program Chief Guest Mr. Biswa Ranjan presented his experience about the evening. President of the evening Mr. Aftab Alam expressed his view about the creative work presented by the members. Team members extended their thanks to host Ms. Humera Roshi for hospitality.
