Ministry warns telephone subscribers to pay pending bills

Saturday, March 12, 2016

The Ministry of Communications has called on telephone subscribers with accumulated debts to settle their bills within the specified period to avoid automatic disconnection of their lines, reports Al-Seyassah daily quoting sources.

Sources disclosed the ministry will send messages on Sunday to remind the concerned subscribers to pay their bills, followed by another message on March 20 informing the subscribers that their lines will be cut on March 27 if they don’t pay.

Sources explained the decision covers subscribers with accumulated bills amounting to KD 50 maximum for residential lines and KD 100 for commercial lines. Sources warned the lines of subscribers with installment plan will be disconnected if they do not pay on time. Sources added the subscribers can obtain information regarding their lines by calling hotline number 123.
