Malayali Media Forum, (MFF) Kuwait, the association of the Malayali media persons working in Kuwait, elected its new office-bearers for the year 2016-17 at a general body meeting in Abbassiya. The meeting elected Sam Painummodu (Deshabhimani) as its new General Convenor and Ismayeel Payyoli (Reporter TV) and Salim Kottayil (Deepika) as convenors. Sathar Kunnil has been elected as the internal auditor.
The meeting also elected Reji Bhaskar, Sajeev K Peter, Anil P Alex, Abdulfattah Thayyil, Azeez Thikkodi, Naufal Moodadi, Nixon George, Anil K Nambiar, Muhammad Riyaz, P P Junoob, Sunoj Nambiar, Gafoor Moodadi, Muneer Ahmad, Hamsa Payyannoor and Girish Ottapalam as its executive committee members. M M Hassan, Siddique Valiyakath, Thomas Mathew Kadavil, Hikmath, Anwar Sadath Thalassery, Jalin Triprayar and Dijesh Kannur will be the permanent invitees to the forum for 2016-17.Thomas Mathew Kadavil presided over the election.
The meeting was presided over by outgoing general convenor Abdulfattah Thayyil while, convenor Muneer Ahmad welcomed the members.
