PALPAK celebrated Ponnonam-2015

Palakkad Pravasi Association of Kuwait celebrated Ponnonam-2015 on Friday, 18th September 2015 at Indian Central School, Abbassiya. The full day event was celebrated in a traditional way. Different programs staged by Palpak members and children such as various forms of dance, skits, group songs, traditional thiruvathira etc. followed by the joyful rocking orchestra mixed with folk songs by C.J. Kuttappan was a special experience for the huge crowd. Pookkalam and drawing competitions were held for the members and children and Onam feast was served to all.

The inaugural ceremony session was chaired by Palpak President Shainu G. Kutty and the event was inaugurated by the chief guest Ex-Folklore Academy Chairman and renowed folk/playback singer Shri. C.J. Kuttappan. In addition to the inspiring speech by the chief guest, Mr. Sunil Krishnan, Mr. Aravindakshan, Mrs. Smitha Manoj also delivered the felicitation speech. Arts Secretary Mr. Suresh Madhavan welcomed the session and Treasurer Mr. T.M. Mohan cast the vote of thanks.

A special interaction session with chief guest Shri. CJ kuttappan was arranged on 19th September evening at Hi-dining restaurant hall.
