Geeta Kapur offered Archana Kamath DML-3 winner to join her dance troupe in Mumbai

Indian Youth Society needs no introduction as they have once again proved to the community that IYS means SUCCESS. Their motto of contributing and building a platform to the youth of the society has been accomplished with yet another grand success of Dhoom Macha Le Season 3.

IYS organized a dance competition Dhoom Macha le season 3 on 25th September 2015 at American International School - Maidan Hawally. The show was judged by the famous choreographer, dancer and reality show Judge Ms. Geeta Kapur. More than 200 participants participated in the Grand Finale in different categories. All 200 participants were selected after the audition held at Salmiya Indian Model School by famous actor, dancer, Choreographer Dharmesh.

The show commenced by honoring the 2 nations with National Anthem and a short introductory message by His Excellency Indian Ambassador to Kuwait Mr. Sunil Jain and IYS President Mr. Shabbir Qamar who solicitated the Ambassador and the sponsors as well.

The show was hosted by Mr. Shakir Shaikh whose repo with the judge Ms. Geeta Kapur added flavor to the show and eased the tension between the participants.

It was not an easy task for Ms. Geeta Kapur to judge the talent of Kuwait. She said she was shocked and surprised to witness such amazing performances. She thanked IYS for granting her the opportunity to judge such a talent. She also said that she will recommend famous Dance show Dance India Dance to set up an audition in Kuwait and portray the talent of Kuwait on their show.

As IYS is looking forward to have the King of Dance Mr. Prabhudeva, Ms. Geeta conveyed a message to Mr. Prabhudeva from the platform of Dhoom Macha Le that he will be missing out on the best talent if he could not come across, she said he should come and witness it personally.

The competition turned out to be so challenging that she has to select 2 winners & 2 runners up for the category of Pre Seniors. The Pre Senior Winner Ms. Archana Kamath was offered to join Geeta Kapur’s dance troupe in Mumbai which was happily accepted by the winner, she was totally impressed by the Super Seniors winner Mr. Vibin John, she gave him the title of shining star and called him a hero, she invited him to enter the DID competition. She was amazed to see the junior’s performances as well, she was carried away with their talent. She praised all participants with positive comments.

As the competition concluded, Ms. Geeta thanked IYS for their hospitality and added that it was the best organized show she ever attended and would love to come again and again.

IYS is proud to setup such a platform as they promised, their first step to success through Dhoom Macha Le in 2012 was judged by the famous dancer, Choreographer and Judge Terence Lewis who was so carried away with the Kuwait talent that he also judged Dhoom Macha le season 2.

The IYS President Mr. Shabbir Qamar says that it never strike them at Dhoom Macha Le season 1 that it will lead to such fame and success. He believes success is spending majority of time focused on work or task that are fulfilling and helping other people in a meaningful way while providing them with a platform and wings to flap and fly high.

Indian Youth Society of Kuwait fondly known as IYS is a non-profitable organization registered with Indian Embassy of Kuwait by the initiative of a like-minded young Indians with the vision of honoring, encouraging, supporting and celebrating the Indian social & cultural values amongst the people of Kuwait. IYS intension is to create a platform for people by organizing various competition events like singing, dancing, sports etc., to showcase their talents and creativity. The Society is also strived to provide social & cultural work by regularly organizing quality entertainment events to increase the interaction and enhance the harmony amongst the people.

IYS has been successful in gaining popularity and remains a strong and fast growing organization in Kuwait led by its founder members. IYS welcomes all individuals to join and serve the community.
