Telangana Chaitanya Sravanthi, Kuwait celebrated Get-together cum Sports Day during the EID holidays.
Telangana Chaitanya Sravanthi, Kuwait (TCS) celebrated a get-together cum Sports day on 25th September 2015 at Fintas public Park in Fintas, Kuwait. it was a grand success attended by over 150 persons that included members, and their families along with children.
The sports day that was conducted jointly by the TCS Sports and Ladies committees, who started the proceedings by welcoming all the attendees. The President Mr.Srinivas Vaidyula followed by Vice President Mr. Sreeram Taduri, welcomed the gathering and officially declared the Sports Meet Open beginning with the Sack race.
The Sack Race was an instant hit with over 40 members participating. It was followed by Tug-of- War between four teams of all ages. Finally the most popular Indian game of Kabaddi was played with players displaying their inborn traditional skill, courage and experience. Sports In-charges Mr.Ghouse, Mr.Ramesh, Mr.Shiva, Mr.Narayana and others arranged all the equipment and conducted the events smoothly.
Simultaneously the Ladies and Children participated in the Musical Chairs, Memory Game, Lemon Spoon Race and Dodge Ball. Their Games were conducted by Ladies Committee under the leadership of Smt.Praveena Rajesham and committed other women members.
In the evening, Snacks and Tea were served with dedicated arrangements and efforts of Mr.Aravind, Mr.Naresh, Mr.O.Ramesh, Mr. Santhosh and others.
Finally, the members played a game of Housie (Tambola/Bingo) which was well conducted by Mr.Rajesham and ably assisted by others. The prizes were distributed by all the eminent elders present - Mr.JRK Reddy, Mr. Taduri, Mr.Krishna Rao, Mr.Subhash, Mr. Prem Kumar, Mr. RK Chary etc. Vote of Thanks on behalf of the Executive Body was given by the Joint Secretary (Communications) Mr. Ramesh Gotla thanking all the volunteers who helped to make this event a grand success. Overall, it was a great event filled with fun and frolic. In a span of few months it was a 4th event of TCS Kuwait involving a large gathering of its members.
