At the monthly meeting of the Writers’ Forum, Kuwait (WFK) held at the residence of Mr. Ali Chougle & Mrs. Maimuna Chougle on the 26th of May’17, some very insightful and beautiful words—in poetry and prose, were presented by its members. The beauty not only lay in the content which had depth and provoked the listeners to think, but it also lay in the linguistic variety thereof.

The meeting started with a note of thanks by Mrs. Maimuna Chougle; the newly elected President of the forum. She, on behalf of the newly elected Executive Committee of the forum, conveyed heartiest thanks to all the members of the forum for showing their confidence in them and also assured to put all the efforts to come upto their expectations. All the members, in turns, welcomed the new Executive Committee and communicated their wholehearted support.

While the evening was presided over by Umesh Sharma; the former President and one of the founder members of the forum, the Chief Guest on the occasion was Dr (Mrs.) Navniit Gandhi. The meeting was steered by Rajesh Verlekar; General Secretary of the Forum.

In the first session, Rajesh Verlekar presented his short story ‘A Memorable Chilled Evening’ and Tushar Mishra presented ‘Aap Beeti Kahani’ wherein both of them re lived their old memories.
