KALA-Kuwait Malayalam: 36 Classes in Fahaheel Region

Kerala Art Lovers Association KALA-Kuwait along with Mathrubhasha Samithi has 36 Classes as the part of Free Malayalam Education Program. The batches continue in Fahaheel, Sukhsaba, Mangaf, Abu Halifa and Mehanoula under Fahaheel Region with more than 850 students registered so far.

In the 25th year of Free Malayalam Education Program, the syllabus is revised with three distinct parts classified for basic, intermediate and senior levels of students. The space for the classes is provided by parents and well-wishers.

‘KALA-Jatha’, a specially trained group with artistic displays, poems, short stories and skits portraying the cultural base of Kerala are now visiting classes in the Fahaheel Region. The classes will continue till end of August. From September onwards monthly programs are scheduled till May 2016, in tribute to Malayalam, as the part of yearlong Silver Jubilee Celebrations of Free Malayalam Education started by KALA-Kuwait, in the year 1990.
