The Kuwait criminal court sentenced a 21-year-old bedoon man to death, a 17-year-old Syrian man to 10 years in prison (because he is a juvenile), and fined a 20-year-old Syrian man and a 21-year-old citizen KD 50 each for killing two Indian national at Sulaibiya vegetable market last year April.
According to investigation, the 21-year-old bedoon man fired a machine gun killing Sayyed Abdurahiman Rashid (Rashid Thangal) from Malappuram district and Shargadharan from Kozhikode district, both from Kerala state, while the 17-year-old Syrian stood by and held a knife to assist him. Sayyed Abdurahiman Rashid and Shargadharan were working for Badar Al Mulla Security Company and was returning back from vegetable market in Sulaibiya with cash as part of their duty.
According to public prosecution, the 20-year-old Syrian and the 21-year-old citizen were fined for withholding information and harbouring fugitives.
