Kuwait Tuesday announced that Thursday would be the first day of Muslims' holy month of Ramadhan.
Justice Yusuf Al-Mutaw'a, head of the Constitutional Court and deputy chairman of the Court of Cassation, said in a statement the crescent sighting authority could not prove the sighting of crescent today evening.
Therefore, he added, the first day of Ramadhan would fall on Thursday.
