The students of the Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman have brought laurels to the school by winning Second Position in the Overall Championship at the recently concluded KALA-BEC Balakalamela 2015. KALA-BEC Balakalamela 2015, the art and literary competitions for Indian students were organized by Kerala Art Lovers Association, KALA-Kuwait jointly with Bahrain Exchange Company Kuwait. Competitions were held on 1st May, 2015 for Bharathanatyam, Mohinyattam, folk dance, group dance, classical music, light music, Mappila Pattu, english & malayalam recitation, elocution, essay, mono act & fancy dress categorized for sub juniors, juniors & senior divisions, simultaneously through different stages named as ‘Layalm, ;Thalam’ ‘Ragam’, ‘Thanam’, ‘Pallavi’, ‘Niram’ and ‘Nila’.
