Q7 KPL season 5 ended in thrilling final played at Abbasiya TCR ground on May 15th, 2015 which saw the Oriental Cricketers winning against Winners Intl to take home the Q7KPL Champions Trophy and KPL Cash award. Winners Intl secured BEC Kuwait Runner Up trophy and KPL Cash award.

40 teams competed in 4 different groups and top 4 from each group qualified for the knock out stages.

Earlier season 3 champions Desert Bulls won against Wrong XI to bag the Grand Hyper 2nd Runner Up trophy and KPL Cash Award.

Winners Intl who won the toss and opt to field first, Oriental Cricketers made 132 runs in 16 overs with the help of brilliant 46 runs made by Wasim Mukadam. In return Winners played very well at first, both openers chased the target with the required run rate, but Oriental’s bowlers did very good job and took Winners Intl’s wickets in several interval. At the end winners Intl all out by 118 with an over to spare.

Wasim Mukadam of Oriental Cricketers was awarded man of the match for his all round performance. Umar Khan of TCCB declared as Man of the Series of Q7 KPL Season 5 and was awarded with the Karbon Mobile Phone.
